Manuel Cornette
Student, ESSEC MS SMIB
Graduating from ESSEC with a double diploma, I have 2 years experience, including internships, in a variety of positions and industries:
I've been successively involved in communication, marketing, strategy, business development and project management in industries ranging from financial services edition (Thomson Reuters) to media (Dargaud Distribution) or heavy industry (3M) among others.
With extensive international experience in the US, UK, Australia and Singapore, I benefitted from exposure to the Anglo-Saxon working environment (18 months working in English and Australian companies) as well as 2 years studies in the Silicon Valley and Singapore.
Following the world financial crisis, I believe that the main answers won't come from finance anymore but from company internal decisions, better management of their assets and strong corporate strategic vision and actions.
Having a very diverse experience, I have acquired a broad vision of companies’ processes, of the interactions between departments and of the benefits they can get from business partners, from foreign settlements or from efficient management.
Today, firms often need a change in mentality, a change in the way they do business.
I want to be involved with the same consulting firms that will be the drivers for this change.
Graduating at the end of April 2010, I am determined to enter a strategy consulting firm at this point.
With strong analytical and interpersonal skills, focus and motivation, I wish to get completely involved with such a company and respond to its customers challenges to the very best of my ability.
